So we busted this open yesterday of course and been playing it. Pretty cool.
The only thing I have some complaints about is the battery life of the game pad. Only last about 2 1/2 hours on a full charge. Can't wait to see how future games utilize the game pad. We only have two games right now. Nintendoland and Skylanders. Anyone else recommend anything?

Wii U getting a system update to speed up the interface. Lots of people have complained about the slow system speeds.

Some of the titles out so far (yes, I'm looking at you Zombie U) are just ****ing awful. And the seemingly cobbled together support (in most games) for the gamepad screen and other "selling points" are shameful. Sure, there's a couple of GREAT games but overall the Wii U experience has been thoroughly underwhelming. |

I like the system and think it holds alot of potential, but yea, games need to increase in quality and quantity.

I see a lot of potential but a lot of that has been fueled by Nintendo touting all these great features. So far, it seems to be vaporware.

My Wii system has been screwed up for a while now (freezes up all the time), and I finally decided to do something about it. And that thing is...sending it in for repair. Based on everything I'm hearing, it's just not worth the $300+ at this point to upgrade.

Picked up Lego City Undercover for the son and I to play last night. I guess it got delayed a few days. Only played a few minutes last night, but seems like its going to be alot of fun.

This games rocks! My son and I had alot of fun with it over the weekend. Its basically a GTA type of game where you walk/drive around the city and interact with alot of different things. There is a tooooon of levels/missions/stuff to unlock. far more detailed than any other lego game i have ever played. The story and cut scenes are pretty funny as well. Tons of parodies cop cliches and movies.
