As bad as the Royals have been for the last 15 years, KC seems to be happy with the direction they're going (the moves they've made this offseason), moreso than the Chiefs. Will they get a playoff victory before the Chiefs (series)?

Seriously, since early grade school all I remember is hearing about how the Royals are finally not the last place team. WTF? And I've never actually seen a Chiefs playoff win. Mizzou decides to shit every freaking time I show up. Chiefs now too. I root for these guys, I go to the games, I give my support. Nothing. Nothing at all. It's getting old I expected to stay in my fanboy stage throughout my twenties, but patience is wearing thin.

If the Royals can get ANY semblance of a decent starting pitching rotation, we could easily win some playoff games.

I wish the Royals well, id love KC to be like the 70's and 80's again. Just because the GM says hes going to go get pitching, doesnt mean its going to happen. Those players have to want to come to KC, the money has to be right, they have to stay healthy, etc.....etc...

But hey, What do i know? IM just a jaded Royals fan for the past 26 years and counting now....Seen too many of these September "Wait till next year fellas!"

Royals will have to do it this season to do it first. With Geno Smith I see the Chiefs doing it next year. Amazing that both teams are in such weak divisions but can't get anything accomplished...yet.
