It's funny that Tyson Jackson still gets most of the abuse, but in the big picture he at least gets onto the field. Jon Baldwin is a football wraith. You never see him, you only see his shadow when he crosses in front of a light.

Jon Baldwin didn't sign a contract for $57 million.

Point taken, though I guess others find that more important than I do. I just see a first-round WR pick who dematerializes when you wave your arms swiftly.

just close your eyes and pretend that Houston was the first round pick and Baldwin the 3rd

That doesn't work with the 09 draft.

Will you guys let Baldwin play with Geno Smith (I hope we draft him) before you judge him??

Don't let Geno wear a crucifix or anything. We don't want Baldwin to disappear into the ether.

In fairness, I know that receivers are typically slow starters in the league, so I'm not giving up on Jonny. I just think that perhaps in Year 2 it's time for him to start, you know, making catches.

You see? This, this right here? This is one of the unrealistically high expectations that I was talking about. /Pioli

For Pioli to seem like even a mild success, Chiefs fans must give themselves a mental stranger.
