And notice Walt doesn't even react to it. Jesse is screaming and Walt just stood there.

This show is absolutely brilliant(Sorry just need to say that again)
And there is a point to EVERYTHING in this show. The beginning was great and the ending was STUNNING. Next week's episode can't get here fast enough |

I chuckled when Walt said, "Sorry to drop in out of the blue," to Hank.

Aaron Paul said in an interview that this was his favorite episode of the series up to this point. Looks like the ending lived up to it.

Had a little Ocean's 11 feel to it. Until the end.

$296 million? That has to be the "after meth" value.
If not, that car was worth 7.1 billion. |

That was perhaps my favorite ending to a midseason episode of any show ever. Finally, a show murdered a little kid. I've been waiting so long to see this happen (Wallace was a good start, but he was older than "little kid" age). Shocking stuff.

When I saw the driver of the dump truck, I half expected the engineers to try to run away and slip and crack their skulls on the train tracks.
One nitpick, those 'secured' tags they replaced are numbered and get checked with great regularity. In college, I worked security for a certain large catalog distribution center in Lenexa, and someone had to check the number and integrity of every tagged trailer on the lot [>200 usually]. Additionally, numbers and integrity were checked at the way station at the entrance to the lot coming and going.

There are now so many different ways the show can go.
Will Walt be pissed at what Todd did and off him the way Gus killed Victor because he freelanced? Will Walt be impressed by Todd taking initiative and see him as his new young apprentice -- i.e., a replacement for Jesse, who almost certainly will be horrified at what happened and probably will have another round of doubt about the whole operation? If Walt can't talk Jesse down this time, he may conclude that Jesse has to go. So who will kill Jesse -- Walt or Todd? It's going to be agonizing if Jesse departs. Simply gut-wrenching. I'll probably cry. But that's what makes this show so awesome. |

Also, Walt has to have been impressed with Jesse so far this season. When Walt and Mike were butting egos, Jesse has been the man with the solutions. It almost seems like Walt has built a nice little crew – the longtime sidekick with a knack for solving problems, the business guru, and the cold-blooded enforcer.
