This.
Solid pick in the 6th round, and we absolutely needed another RB

so is Pioli saying he's giving up on Cassel and we're a run every down team?

So you sign a RB if he gets hurt again.
Hillis and Gray is quality depth behind Charles. We don't need to carry 4.

I haven't seen more than one negative comment. And yes, I've seen him play. I'm on board with the pick. Good value in this round.

Anyway, seems like a quality pick with future potential, which is the trend this year. |

Doesn't seem to have any outstanding attributes except for his first cut. Seems to have a knack for making the right cut at the right time and slipping through the smallest of openings.
Doesn't have the ability to break away or even break tackles. Not really shifty enough to make people miss but his ability to maximize yards out of his first cut is pretty good. Seems really consistent at what he does. He will come in handy if our line opens up holes for him because he doesn't need a big hole. He might be especially effective on short yardage, IMO. |

No QB for Chiefs?
You already know they haven't drafted one yet. The Chiefs are scheduled to have five picks as the draft concludes today and while Kirk Cousins of Michigan State might be an enticing prospect at this point, Romeo Crennel this morning didn't sound like the Chiefs were in the mood to draft Cousins or any other quarterback. The Chiefs already have a developmental quarterback in Ricky Stanzi,a fifth-round pick last year. ''We’ll have to feel good about whoever we look at that he’ll have a chance to compete with Stanzi or he has to be better than Stanzi, which might be tough at this point,'' Crennel said. Running back by committee we use to do that. Denver does it, of course their o-linemen use Vaseline also.
