It's not that bad. It's more like having lobster, than steak, then Dairy Cream ice cream cone. It's still good, but didn't match up to the first two.

Godfather III is a very good movie. Its only problem is that it had to follow Godfathers I and II

I respectfully disagree. Sofia Coppola's acting alone almost ruins the whole film. I just hate it, and I'm sure that's prejudiced by the fact that I love the first two so much and the third was such a disappointment, but I've tried going back and watching it with a more objective eye and it still is terrible.
At one point the twin bodyguards are killed and then later you see one of them in one of the scenes. The whole thing to me sucks. I try and purge it from my mind as if it never happened. The Godfather 3 is the Fredo Corleone of the trilogy, except Michael should have let Fredo live, the Godfather 3 should have been shot dead before it hit the screen. |

Sofia Coppola was to Godfather Part III what Jar Jar Binks was to Phantom Menace. What an absolutely horrible actress - she makes Mariel Hemmingway look like Meryl Streep. If Winona Rider gets that part as she was supposed to, that movie probably wins best picture and Francis gets the sweep.

But I know what you're saying, she's a pretty good director. Her acting in Godfather 3 is a stain that can't be overlooked in my opinion though. It's part and parcel with the movie. |

Watched "American Psycho" last night; thumbs WAY, WAY up! If you didn't grow up in the 80's, you will never truly relate to this movie. That Huey Lewis shit had me rollin'; I can think of about 12 people I knew back in the day who seriously needed a "Huey Therapy Session" with a baseball bat. Bale is awesome.
