I know ROH is struggling financially right now, but they really need to scrape together some scratch to bring young Mr. London back home where he belongs. Wouldn't mind Elijah Burke coming in either if he's not demanding huge bank. Team him up with Kenny King and you've got a money tag team with charisma to spare.
I will be in the house in the front row at the next ROH PPV taping which will feature: American Dragon vs. Nigel McGuiness Austin Aries vs. Jimmy Jacobs in an I Quit match Samoa Joe vs. Tyler Black (not on the PPV) Those three matches right there bring more awesomeness than all of TNA's reeruned history. |

The honk-a-perfect-mountie meter was genious. I thought they might embarrass regal in front of the home country fans (that's what they do to US wrestlers in their home towns...) but that works, too.
I'm watching this show thinking how great it is that Orton's back and how much Smackdown is suffering because Edge is off tv right now. Wonder if they'll have him and christian come in as a stable again? |

F4W says...
For whatever it's worth, most in TNA believe Christian is heading back to WWE in a few weeks when his deal expires. Keep in mind that when he went from WWE to TNA he didn't tell anyone his plans, including close friends who were pretty upset when they found out what happened. After the clown show that was backstage at Turning Point, I can see him wanting to get the **** out if WWE is interested. It's tough going from the big leagues to the B-show, especially when you're making less money and people are constantly coming up to you asking why you don't wrestle anymore. I suspect Angle will be looking for a way out next year and likely Rhino and some others as well. Spring 2009 is when a lot of contracts are up, and I think a lot of guys will jump at the chance to go to WWE if WWE is interested. Not to mention the Impact Spoiler is...The Main Event Mafia without Sting destroyed Christian Cage. Kurt Angle said they heard a rumor he was jumping back to WWE and said they are giving him a going away party, and beat him down. Which sounds like a pretty typical Russo thing to do to a guy leaving. |

Burke would definitely be interesting to see in ROH. Even if he still is a tiny bit green, there are plenty of experienced guys he could work with in ROH that could mentor him, like Jerry Lynn, Danielson, Aries, etc. The guy has so much charisma he would be gold in ROH and the crowds would love him. I compare him to Kenny King. I saw King's ROH debut in Chicago and although he was an asshole heel wrestling fan favorite Kevin Steen, the crowd still ate up what he was doing. |

Kenny Dykstra, who was recently released by the WWE, wrote the following on his Myspace.com page:
""Believe it or not, I actually am happy to be gone from WWE. I dont have to do things around their schedule and I dont have to answer to anybody. I have never felt so free in my entire life. I had been working with WWE since I was 16 so I've never really known anything else. I did have fun with WWE but the creative side never used me properly or really gave me an opportunity to get over. It sucks when you know your better than the majority and your only used to make people look good. Will I stay wrestling? I'm not sure. WWE kinda puts a bad taste in your mouth after all the politics and garbage that can go on. I may try to go to TNA but we will see. I have 90 days to think about it and possibly try." Kenny apparently will never learn a huge reason he was never used is everyone thought he was a giant douchebag. |

Remember that shoot Cryme Tyme did after they got canned for going into business for themselves (on a ref) at a house show? All respectful-like towards the WWE and whatnot? And how they got re-hired not long after and placed right back where they left off?
... yeah. Good work, Kenny.

The only one that really sucks is Burke, but he was screwed when everyone in creative that liked him ended up either quitting or getting fired. |

I still don't understand how nobody on the current staff could look at Burke's work on the mic and in the ring and say, "Nope, we can't work with THAT."
It had to be a case of out of sight, out of mind or something. He was on an absolute roll, then Benoit went nuts and it's like they didn't want to touch the guy he'd had his last match with.
