Will you be getting a 3rd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine?
* If you haven't gotten a COVID vaccine and have no intention of doing so
* If you are anti-vaccine
* If you are just going to stir up shit

.... please just go to the DC and discuss your opinions there.

For those of you left.... What are your thoughts on a 3rd dose of the vaccine 8 months after your second jab? There seems to be very limited data on this at the moment, other than a bit of info out of Israel that shows a 3rd jab of the mRNA vaccines shows an increased level of antibodies. But from my understanding, they're only using Pfizer.

This obviously leaves a lot of questions regarding Moderna and Johnson and Johnson. I'm not even sold on the idea of a booster being needed for all ages.

What are your thoughts?

My terrible grammar strikes again.

I was trying to say that compare to the staggering number of vaccine shots given, the few issues that have occurred don't mean much. They haven't even proven the problems were directly linked to the vaccine.

Make more sense than my first post?

Since there is supposed to be an 8 month window between second and third shots, I have some time. More than likely I'll get the booster, I imagine.

When it's January and they're still recommending it, then I'll get it. Who knows what's going to be going on by this winter. Hopefully, things won't be stupid and bat shit crazy

As for herd immunity, it was apparently possible with Original Recipe Covid if we had gotten to around 70-80% fully vaccinated. With Delta, though, it will either require 80-90% or be totally impossible. Chances are, this is going to be with us for some time.

As in probably forever. Eventually it'll become just another seasonal coronavirus that causes cold like symptoms.

Probably going to be a while before that happens though.

I'm due up in about a month. I kind of wish I had a little more time to wait and see data.
