It is, even as bad as we played, killing ourselves in the 1st half, I never panicked, got bent out of shape or feared this game for a L!

Give me Mahomes and a top 5-10 defense all ****ing day.
Even in ugly games, you always know Mahomes will make the winning plays at the end if necessary. With the talent on this defense, Mahomes doesn’t have to have great games every week. 2018 Chiefs with this defense go undefeated. Probably win every game by double digits.

It’s cool I’m happy about it but they got a record for everything now a days.
First team to start 5-0 3 seasons in a row First team to go 8-0 back to back seasons. First team to go 2-0 in 8 seasons I mean you could play that game all day long is kinda my point. |

The thing no one is talking about is that this is (in theory) the hardest part of our schedule.
AND Outside of the Ravens game we really haven’t played well. So it’s not like we came out outside our minds hot, or Andy blew his load on trick plays and exotic concepts. He had before. Not now. We just rolled our dudes out, against their best and won. One of the reasons it’s so hard is injuries break teams. So we took dudes best shots, didn’t play well and are still 4-0. |

The Chiefs are 4-0 and have played approximately 5.5 good quarters of football out of 16 by my count. They are winning effortlessly. They are going through the motions and still beating teams without even really digging in. Not once was I really impressed last night by anything they did, and they won by freaking 16 points against a Belichick coached team. Don't really care who the QB was, that's still pretty damn crazy. The Patriots basically gave up with 7 minutes left in the damn game. I have never seen that before. They definitely need to get out of this habit, but the fact they are pulling this off is pretty incredible. I don't want them acting like some NBA team and waiting until the end of the year to turn it on permanently, because every game is too important in this league. With that said, winning without even really trying is certainly not something I can complain about. |
