Does Kevin Kietzman deserve to be fired/forced to resign?

I'm not 100% on the KK news from today. But figured we'd start a thread to discuss this topic.

Sound off below. Also feel free to add in the KK tweets and such in here.

Thanks!

Of course you'd support Kietzman, you're the same trash as him.

So the only way Kietzman can "do his job" as a sports talk host in terms of generating publicity is to bring up the dead kid of a football coach?

Besides, what's the deal w/CP going after all the media folks?
The fans are expressing their 1st amendment rights.

You can't with good conscience defend KK and not defend the fans.

Freedom of speech is double-edged. If you don't want others to exercise their 1st amendment rights upon you, then don't say something monumentally stupid.

"You reap what you sow..."

You have to face the consequences of your actions. Cracking a microphone on a public forum is a powerful thing. Nobody is questioning his right to say something, they are questioning the content and character of his remarks. He crossed the line, his comments were nowhere in the realm of decency, and he is being called out for it.

Simple as that.

start with not defending Stephen crowder, and you’re on the right track.

The people saying this has anything to do with free speech need to go back high school and actually pay attention this time.

I’m sure he neglected to defend Colin Kaepernick and his conscience felt just fine.

This.

Freedom of speech doesn't guarantee freedom from the consequences of your speech.

Yes Kietzman is free to say what he wants, but key stakeholders... i.e. sponsors, advertisers, listeners, etc. are also free to respond accordingly to his comments.

By "media folks," you mean the soulless ****s who are hellbent on destroying the Chiefs in order to make themselves seem important, right?

Funny how that works isn't it? I remember the 70s and the 80s all too well....hell, they couldn't give away seats and sure as hell, no one in the media gave a damn about them.

Now look at that picture. Hot team - seems like every media source in KC is out to "get them".

Go figure.....

His backpedal is almost as embarrassing as his original comment. Trying to say he never mentioned Reid's son, though he mentioned "Family" more than once.

Then trying to double down on THAT by claiming he was referencing his ALIVE sons.

A) As if referencing ANY of his sons is any ****ing better.

and

B) There's no ****ing way you can reference his alive son's drug issues and not imply his DEAD son's O.D.

What a scumbag. Admit that you ****ed up. Quit trying to pass the blame to everyone who reacted, trying to make THEM the bad guys for "misinterpreting" his words.
