If you want a site that allows you to then play out the playoff matchups, go here:
https://playoffpredictors.com/Football/NFL Some of my notables: Week 13: Bengals, even without Dalton, beat DEN (Because that's exactly the kind of game Denver loses.) Steelers over Chargers. Vikings beat NE. Cowboys actually beat NO. Week 14: Bears beat Rams. Colts beat Texans. Week 15: Steelers beat Pats. Chiefs beat Chargers. Week 16: Seahawks beat Chiefs. Saints beat Steelers. Eagles beat Texans. Ravens beat Chargers. Week 17: The Chargers go full Chokers and lose at Denver, missing the playoffs. Everything else pretty much goes as expected. WC: (5) Texans at (4) Colts (6) Ravens at (3) Patriots (5) Seahawks at (4) Cowboys (6) Vikings at (3) Bears DV (3) Patriots at (2) Steelers (4) Colts at (1) Chiefs (3) Bears at (2) Rams (5) Seahawks at (1) Saints Conference Championship: (3) Patriots at (1) Chiefs (2) Rams at (1) Saints Super Bowl Chiefs vs Rams. |

Pats play at Steelers week 15. Chiefs take care of business against Chargers Thursday night, and we can all sit back and enjoy the show on Sunday. Pats have owned Pitt for a while now. I expect a lot of frustration to be released.
It would be really nice to go into week 16 against Seattle knowing we have a 1 loss cushion for HFA. |

Looks like y'all have to go through New England. The Broncos lose in the WC round at Houston.

If the Pats were to lose to the Steelers but win the rest, that puts them at 12-4. Chiefs could theoretically lose to the Seahawks and still clinch HFA by beating the Raiders at home. I doubt Andy would do anything different in terms of sitting guys at that point unless they lock it up by winning in Seattle. IF they have it locked up at 13-2 going into that last game, I doubt we'd see many starters. |

KC needs to win out to ensure HFA, obviously... to me the game @ SEA is the biggest question for KC at this point.
Patriots lose 1 game and KC can lock it up by 16 easily. Patriots could lose realistically to MIN and/or PIT. Those are two tough games for them, one home and one road. The MIN @ NEP game this week is going to be interesting to say the least and if the Patiorts lose, I think you guys can rest fairly easily.

PIT has some tough games...
Would love to see LAC win, but that's likely NOT happening. They then have the Patriots and Saints - two tough games. They'll beat OAK and CIN. IND is on a nice roll, but they have a few tough games too. @ HOU, DAL, NYG... will be interesting to see if JAX just falls again and then they close @ TEN. HOU... the Browns won't be an easy out, then the Colts and Eagles with the Jets and Jags. They'll likely come out all right. Ravens might have the toughest close and they're the hardest to project in my estimation ... @ ATL, @ KC, Tampa, @ Chargers, Browns. I think it's going to be a fun ending. We shall see.

I think the Texans have a legit shot to win out and go 13-3 (which they lose the tie-breaker to the Pats if the Pats also go 13-3, but they would beat us in most circumstances if we also went 13-3).
13: host CLE 14: host IND 15: @ NYJ 16: @ PHI 17: host JAX Host 3 of 5. Biggest challenges will be at home against the Colts, and in Philadelphia. Heh. We could have three 13-3 teams in this conference if we drop a game, and NE and HOU win out. In those circumstances, we'd be the 3 seed, unless the game we lost was against the Seahawks, in which case we'd be the 2. |

Seahawks seems to be the most likely game we lose. My thought process is realistically we go 13-3 and we just need a couple breaks to still get HFA. But I forgot about the Texans.
It's crazy to think of the Texans going 13-3. Clevelend is on a roll, Indy playing for their lives, Jets just played the Pats sort of tough, @ Phi should still be tough. I feel like those are four 55%-60% chance wins for the Texans. Hitting on all 4 is a low probability. We'll see what happens. |
