After letting it a settle for a day, my opinion on the movie has grown stronger. It was already a good movie in my book, but I was able to reflect on it all and see the big picture more clearly. I think I just got up out of my seat a little confused after first viewing because it ends so abruptly.
I wish I had watched it without looking at trailers but that’s hard to do. I’m gonna watch it again but if I was grading it right now, I’d say it’s the best Halloween since ‘78. |

Based off the way it ended you kinda figured that'd be the case.

Wife and I both liked it. Nothing too clever but if you liked the first one I think you'd be happy with it

I was slightly disappointed. I thought alot of the movie was braindead. Fell back on too many horror tropes. Stupid characters doing stupid things that no real people in real life would ever do.
Entertaining i guess, but braindead script.

I thought that gave it that 80s horror movie feel. I imagine that is what they were going after.

Who was the black cowboy character supposed to be? He seemed like he could have been interesting but then he just sort of disappeared.
Why would you go thru the trouble of creating a distinctive character, then give him nothing to do?

I’m sure he’ll be a bigger part of the next film.

Why did they dad that found the bus crash get out and leave his son all alone? Why wouldn’t he just back up and call 911?

The initials carved into the rifle was a bit silly...in a good way. Nod towards The Natural?

Just a great job if making a movie geared towards the fan base. Star Wars could learn from this one.
