Notice the Chiefs haven't gotten any ghost penalties since Mahomes stuck it up Pittsburgh and the Refs butt? Respect has been earned by our fellow QB in the NFL, in only a few games of football.

38-21 CHIEFS. We have a quarterback now who can go toe to toe with anyone.

Pats will learn this week.
You didn't expect Mahomes to throw 2 INTs and zero TDs. Gimme a break.

The refs tried to hand Denver that game on a silver platter and that was after Pittsburgh.

I never expected the Chiefs go undefeated in the reg season, and neither should any of you.

This was a game I had circled as a "L", but it doesn't mean they can't win, they did it last season w/ ease.

This time they'll have Gronk, KC won't have Berry or anyone that can cover Gronk. I expect him to be a big problem.

Edleman is back. Gordon is going to have more looks his way. Chiefs D is beat up. No Justin Houston will be a problem. Is Dee Ford going to have some breakout game? He had a good game last week. One thing's for certain, he's not going to have much help. Speaks is ****ing slow and terrible and Zombo....sigh. Not sure about this Nate Orchard guy but I doubt he has any real immediate impact.

Pats look like they're starting to get the kinks out of themselves.

Good thing is, their D is ****ing trash. I just don't know if Mahomes is going to go off or not. Chiefs need him to if they have a shot at winning.

And you know the refs are going to protect Brady's bitch-ass. That OL is going to hold all ****in game and it won't get called, meanwhile the Chiefs will have 15-20 penalites for over 100yds.

I wouldn't say we're out of the woods yet, Mr. bsroyals54. Long is the woodsy road we have yet to travel with our pith helms tightly secured.

The "ghost" penalties aren't the most fearsome creatures lurking in the woods. Actually, it's the sneaky, "contextual" ones which leap out and bite your ass that hurt the most. It's those key penalties at crucial moments that so often convert an innocent explorer into just another jungle lunch.

There are also the dreadful, "uncalled" penalties against your opponent that lurk hidden in the trees before dropping inaudibly from the foliage and strangling you silently while your frantic cries for help go unheeded because your breath cannot escape your windpipe and the whistle makes no sound.

These are the penalties one must be prepared to encounter when entering Belicheat's wilderness.

All of this ^

Our D won’t get a sniff of Brady, and Gronk will embarass our safeties- plus, their running backs mismatched on the Chiefs linebackers will be a bloodbath.

I’ll take the temporary pain of a regular season loss to prop up the NFL/Patriots inevitable story line, in exchange for a Pats visit to Arrowhead in the AFC Championship game where they get annihilated by Mahomes and a healthy, aggressive defense.

Mahomes vs Brady in primetime. We will literally watch the passing of the torch live on TV. The broadcast will be mentioning this all throughout the night. I keep reading about the refs in the various Patriots threads but I suspect a plot twist. Pat is going to be the NFL's darling for the next several (hopefully 40) years... I think, if anything, we'll be getting the calls this game... Brady is your old, ugly, wife while Pat is the steamy new mistress and Goodell knows it.

Chiefs 45
Pats 30
Game isn't as close as it looks.

If the Chiefs lose this one, you can pretty much bet that any playoff meeting will be in Foxboro, not Arrowhead.

You sure have yourself convinced of a loss.

So how are they going to stop Hunt? Kelce?

Who have the mighty Pats beat- nobody.
