Mahomes named AFC Offensive Player of the Week. [not this week]

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...rs-of-the-week

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. The second-year pro dazzled in the Chiefs' 38-28 win over the Los Angeles Chargers with 256 yards passing and four touchdowns, adding 21 yards rushing on four carries.

I thought that was funny too. The reason was that the Jags scored three touchdowns on the first three drives, I'm like "Motha****a, did you watch Patrick's clinic? We did that shit too!"

Even Fouts the Chief hater was tongue-tied today.

He was trying to pump up the Steelers big comeback, but Mahomes was destroying them.

I think we scored four on the first three drives if you count the defensive touchdown that the officiating team took away.

Eh, I never saw Fouts as a Chiefs hater.

I find him generally annoying, and he's intolerable when calling Charger games because like a LOT of former players he tends to enormously overfocus on his old team.

Fans are so sensitive. Fouts just kinda sucks.

The funniest part of the whole game was Ian Eagle or whoever the play by play guy was asking the officiating expert about the catch by Robinson. The question he asked was so nonsensical the guy tried to just be like "Oh, you're breaking up!". There was no answer that wouldn't involve pointing out the absolute incoherence of what he asked.

That shit was FUNNY. I have a weird sense of humor.

Tony “Gollum” Dungy is a moron on that show sometimes. It’s amazing what they ignore.

The best thing about watching these shows, is now KCs offensive perception is completely like the Packers. Shannon Sharpe was making fun of Alex Smith on Gameday Prime and how now KC ain’t checking it down.

I think Fouts may hate the Steelers more

Remember he's an old AFC quarterback. We made the playoffs once during his long career.

Shannon Sharpe said precise clear words you could understand spoke elegantly for the first time in his life. Patrick Mahomes cures speech impediments.

I would think but theres that Fitz guy who somehow is trying to act like Mahomes.

I watched a little bit of espn yesterday and some asshole on there was saying Fitz had a more likely time keeping up with his current stats than Mahomes.

I could see Ryan Fitzpatrick getting it, I'm not saying he should, but he put up over 400 yards and 4 tds against the Eagles. He currently is the only QB with a higher QBR than Mahomes.

Those are obvious outliers for him, but if you just go by the stats and quality of opponent there is a case for him.

I guess I could see an NFC player winning AFC Offensive Player of the Week. If ya know, he played in the AFC.

Bortles might be a threat for AFC award. He played very well against Belichick’s defense.
