That's better than what he did in college, which was lower his shoulder and try to run over everyone. Caused multiple injuries for him during his college career.

yep. guy wasn't right for most of one year after suffering a sprain to his throwing shoulder, just because he had to run for that extra yard.

Mahomes will continue to mature and will cut down on his mistakes.

I've noticed how he rarely slides, he has been doing it since last season

But honestly, his inclination to not give up his face and instead turn his back into the hits, usually seems like the right call

Why lay yourself out there head first for the kill, with 300 pound guys bouncing your head off the turf at 60 mph... he knows how best to protect himself

There is a rumor floating about (it may actually be a myth at this point) that, when he has to run, Mahomes prefers to shove his ass into the defense's face.

Never expose your back.

They need to stop running him.

Its massively stupid to him run at all. Our offensive weapons are strong. Why would they do this? Clark needs to step in and tell Andy thats enough of that shit.

I'm sure it will come up in their weekly meeting where Clark tells Andy how to be a football coach.

The one on the goal line was inexcusable. I don't mind some of that stuff at midfield or whatever when you can get guys out of the box.

But yes. He needs a reminder that he's human and those defenders are larger humans.

He is protecting himself much better than in college. Lowered his shoulder to push for extra yardage back in those days. Chiefs coaches have convinced him pretty quickly to stop doing that. Moving the right direction in my view.

It takes just one shot to go down the concussion rabbit hole.

Not to mention blowing out knees, shoulders, etc.
