Apparently I've been an admin here for 10 years. AMA I suppose.

Just out of curiosity, I looked at my account, and I was made an administrator on April 10th, 2008. Though I kind of stepped back on the mod duties for a few years, it's crazy to me that I've been trying to keep you guys from killing each other for over a decade.

Anyway, feel free to ask questions about the past 10 years as a mod, what it's like working for one of CP's most illustrious members, why Denver is an OK place despite the stench wafting over from the Broncos, or whatever.

Or don't. I could just ban people randomly instead, which might be about as fun.

For ChiefsPlanet, I don't think anything's ever been vitally important. I do think it's kind of fascinating that controversy drives traffic. Our best years in terms of CP traffic have been some of the worst years in Chiefs history.

For my own work, everything we do is related to an individual client's needs, so it's hard to have any big, global findings. We have done some work with alcohol and marijuana, though, and it's fascinating to look at the generational differences in perceptions of the dangers of the two drugs. As an example, we found that young adults in a county we studied believed that secondhand cigarette smoke is more harmful to people than primary marijuana use.

How is the anal leakage, and does it impact your ability to moderate?

If you could extra-judicial ban anyone for no reason, knowing you'd never be asked about it again and that they would never return, who would it be?

Why don't you cut the bull and let us know what REALLY goes on in the mod forum. We don't buy that it's boring, we know you guys are sharing the good pic threads and conspiring with russian hackers and such.

Most importantly, are tags coming back since it's draft time?

Both of those guys kind of ended their runs here around the time I started, so it's hard for me to make a call. I think I'd have to go with EnDelt in terms of contributions to CP since he was damned hilarious. Respect Gaz, but I don't think CP ever was a great fit for him.

Eh, I dunno. There are a variety of people that drive me a little nuts. I wouldn't say anyone I think should be banned, but my personal enjoyment of CP might be a little better of BEP was never allowed out of DC. She's just an example of a type of poster, though. I could probably come up with 3-4 others if I tried to think about it for a bit.

90% of the mod lounge is "Reported post by XXX" and discussion about the reported post. There are a couple of ongoing threads about people who drive us nuts but who never do anything bannable, but that's about as exciting as it gets.

BEP usually stays in DC.

I'm surprised you didn't say Hootie or Tiger Uppercut. Yes, I know they were both banned but wow, holy crap were those guys just insufferable. They just didn't know when to stop.

I'm a very logical person. If A=B and B=C, then A=C. I don't do well with people who suddenly start debating what conspiracy there is behind the =. TJ would be in this same bucket as well, but he hardly ever pokes his head out of DC these days.

Hootie's a weird one for me. I think if we limited him to Twitter-style posts only (140 characters or whatever) and no more than 10 posts in a thread, he'd actually get along fine. His problem is that he would completely destroy any thread he had a minor disagreement with someone about. The whole place quickly becomes Hootie shitting all over the walls.

Tigger is another good option. Again, it's the refusing to back down that I have a bigger problem with than what he was actually saying.

Is that in the hall of classics? If so, which thread?
