It does harken back to Snyders bajillion dollar all-star teams, the difference being the Rams have the coaching staff to make it work... most likely, anyway

You gotta admire their chutzpah, but the key is gonna be Goff of course... that and managing the weight of all these expectations

One thing Angelinos cant say, is that they arent trying... they are being wildly aggressive

So Cooks is worth a 2018 1st...but Peters is only worth a 2019 2nd? Gotcha...

Suh, Cooks, Talib and Peters in one offseason...did Manning come out of retirement again?

The NFL owners want that 3 billion LA experiment to succeed pretty bad. GMs are throwing players their way...Patriots came out ahead in this deal though. KC took one up the anus...

Still amazing that the Patriots only got a 2nd for Garropolo when the Browns were offering what would've become the 4th overall pick and more.

Well the Eagles did it last year. Worked for them.

**** the Rams. Between all the Goff dicksucking and that trade, they're up there with my least favorite NFC teams next year
How did he underperform?

Bad trade for the Rams though. If Goff couldn't hit Watkins deep all the times he was open, why do they think he's going to to be able to hit Cooks?

While similar, I think the difference here is all of those egos.

Please tell me about when Cooks tried to fight a coach or got kicked off his college team because of problems with the coach. I'll listen off the air

Rams realized that Watkins was responsible for all the other open WRs...Cooks comes cheaper.

LA has spent a 2nd and 1st for a deep threat in 2 years....that's shitty management of draft capital.

Thats a fair question, but at least on paper Cooks is the bigger deal... 3 thousand + yard seasons out of 4, compared to Watkins 1 out of 4

Just a guess, but the Rams are thinking Cooks is better for Goff because of his perceived ability to break open a half second faster, in much the same way KC looked for guys able to quickly get 'Alex Smith open'

Goffs lack of anticipation, and being able to throw guys open has been pretty well discussed... that might be angle to view it from

I'm extremely glad to have Sammy Watkins instead of Cooks. Yikes!

Not really.

He’s under contract at $8.5M for 2018 and could be franchised.
