Tough call. There were plenty of good games throughout the tournament.

Michigan over Houston on a buzzer beater.
Florida State coming from behind to beat Xavier
UMBC over Virginia. Just because it was a blowout doesn't mean it was a bad game.

KU and Duke was a great game, but it's not necessarily the best just because your team came out on top.

I agree though, this game was a turd. So was every other game in the Final 4 except for KU/Duke.

No, it is literally because of the rights deal that TBS/CBS signed when they bought it off the NCAA. TBS shows the championship in even number years. Has nothing to do with ratings.

KU had a fantastic season but wow, Villanova looked like an NBA team during the Final Four.

This may have been Bill Self’s finest season as a coach and there is no shame in that, especially 15 years in.
