The QB’s you mentioned all had experienced coaches leading them. I’m talking decades of coaching experience. Look up their coaching timelines on Wikipedia. Alex Smith played for Urban Meyer. Rodgers played for Tedford. Rivers played for Chuck Amato. Brees played for Joe Tiller. Big Ben played for Terry Hoeppner. Brady played for Lloyd Carr. Peyton Manning played for Phil Fulmer. Eli Manning played for David Cutcliffe who was Peyton’s OC/QB coach at Tennessee.

Kliff Kingsbury is still a very inexperienced coach even now. He was given a Power 5 conference head coaching job after only 5 years of coaching, which is absurd. The biggest mistake he made on Day 1 was a poor DC hire. Mahomes and the team paid the price for having the worst defense ever.
