Let's start it... Warriors going for a back to back and 3 out of 4. Yikes for Gordon Hayward.

It was 50-51 at halftime, you flaming idiot. And no team had ever lead by more than 6 points.

To think of all the people that were bashing the Celtics for the Irving trade...
When there was talk of him going to Minnesota I said that if Thibs could get him on board defensively, he'd be a top 5 player in the NBA - the kid is an absolutely outstanding offensive player. And the same skills that make him great defensively could easily make him a plus defender. I believe SNR was firmly in the 'no' camp on that one.

And now Stevens appears to have him interested in guarding people so of course he's become a good defender as well.

I'd have loved to have gotten Kyrie in LA but the Lakers are after LeBron so that was never going to happen. The Cavs did well to get what they did after he made clear his intentions, but the Celtics still got an elite young player at a discount rate.

Well, right now Thibs has his hands full just trying to get Wiggins and KAT to be plus defenders. Those are guys who possess the physical ability to be not just plus, but actually elite defenders in the NBA. I don't think he needs yet another situation where he has to re-teach defense to a star player.

I was never firmly in the "no" camp, just skeptical of what the possible compensation could be. And I also said it was irrelevant, because we'd almost certainly have to send a starting PG back to Cleveland as a starting point for compensation, and the only one on the roster at the time was Teague, who couldn't be traded until December.

Wiggins not being a premier defender is just bizarre.

I can't explain it, either but I've honestly moved on.

KAT is a bigger head scratcher for me. For his 3rd year in the league and his 2nd under Thibs, there's no way his defense should be this bad. He's a smart guy with an amazing skill set-- possibly the highest potential of any big man under 24 in the NBA. Like, what's the hold up? Get your shit the **** together, KAT.

Eh, you guys were one spot higher in the draft and have a superstar for your troubles. Meanwhile the Lakers had to get rid of the #2 overall pick because their backup guard was ****ing bar skanks and said pick decided it would be smart to broadcast that fact. Oh, and so they could get rid of a contract that was goddamn insane from the instant it was signed.

But hey, Brook Lopez is actually really good and the pick we got turned into Kuzma so it's not all bad.

But again - you got KAT in that draft. We got 2 years of drama and then Kuzma. I think you're doing okay.

First time anything in the draft has gone our way since Kevin Garnett was a rookie.

You're forgetting that we already got rat****ed like you just did. Said player rumored to have been a possible trade acquisition for the Wolves (Kyrie) was picked one spot ahead of us in the 2011 draft. That was a pick that if it were not for the lottery, belonged to Minnesota. We had the worst record that year. And it wasn't a tank job either. We had Kevin Love and a big of bird shit on our team. That's it.

Who does the first pick go to? The ****ing Cavs after Lebron cratered them by leaving. Of course they took Kyrie.

We were left with Derrick Williams as the only other player with big superstar potential, and that was a longshot at that. What position did we need? Anything but a power forward. What was Derrick Williams? A ****ing power forward.

And yes. He sucked. He sucked dick.
