I would just shut my phone off, tell my friends I am taping the game, and hope for the best. That's just me though. I would rather gamble to watch the whole game dvr'd vs. following it on statcast.

I guess being in California the issue is seeing other Raiders fans.

Don't they have to go inside at 7 before the ankle bracelets ping?

Raiders have yet to intercept a pass this year and Smitty is the only QB who hasn’t thrown one

Not sure where else to share this, but yesterday I found myself getting drunk at an airport bar in San Diego next to Marshall Faulk (both headed to SF on a delayed flight for the game). We talked a range of sports for a very entertaining 45 mins. Some relevant takeaways:

1/ He thinks the Chiefs are the best team in football.
2/ He thinks Alex Smith is a legit QB.
3/ He loves, LOVES Dorsey - gives Veach no credit for anything ever done by the KC front office.
4/ He thinks that an NFL head coach is less important to his team's chances of winning than an a comparable MLB manager. This floored me. He then proceeded to tell me that Andy Reid didn't know how to call plays.
5/ He told me I'm a "sh***y fan" because I was still skeptical about the Chiefs. Needless to say, his head would probably explode if he read CP.

And on that last note, Raiders 31 Chiefs 23, but I hope I'm wrong.

Sounds like Faulk didn't like Vermeil/Martz getting a lot of credit for his production.

I almost purchased one of those this week at Academy Sports, I was this >< close but didn't because of the kneeling bullshit.

Seems odd to pay the NFL $100 for a hoodie that solutes the troops and then watch them allow the players to kneel during the anthem.

Thats just my train of thought, everyone has their own.

For the record I have the last two seasons Salute to Service hats.

I've bought the Salute to Service hoodie each year that it's come out. I was thinking about picking up a hat but haven't decided yet.

I just like them vs. a regular hoodie. Plus I could give a **** less about the kneeling shit.
