Injuries and Sutton cost KC

I'm amazed that after Bell gashed them for 170, 7 games ago, that Sutton didn't focus on forcing a struggling Ben to beat them. Like Romo stated, KC wasn't playing the run in 1st half...

The back-up interior line finally showed it's warts against a fast defense...when you have all 3 players, out at the same time, it's going to catch up to you. Alex had no time...which was a toxic combination of having your #2/#3 WRs out. That put the offense completely out of sync...

Not too upset about this..I think if Sutton had sold out to stop Bell from the start, KC wins. If Gaines makes the INT, Chiefs probably win...

Steelers came ready to play...they were way more physical out there.

The biggest problem IMO was the defensive alignment. It is embarrassing to have Sorenson and DJ on the field vs this team. They saw that mismatch and exploited the hell out of it

I still don't understand why they seem to always drop Houston back into coverage. Just let him rush the passer.

to be fair they were playing with 2 dlinmen most of the game. It's pretty easy to run on that. once they put the 3rd guy in there we were at least slowing them down.

Roethlisberger will be HOF QB. He has not played at HOF level for some time. He's a real problem for them at this point, which is why it made little sense that the Chiefs weren't selling out to stop the run and bracketing Brown on every play. Ben has no athleticism anymore

Bell has abused the defense like every game, yet Sutton didn't even bother even attempting to slow him down until like the 4th quarter when he finally played a 3rd lineman.

as bad as it was watching in real time, at the end of the day the defense did JUST enough to win.. o-line being god awful and not giving us a chance is what hurt the most. Smith running for his life to try to make a play in the 2nd half highlights this the most, even Romo said it

It's also worth noting that the Steelers tackling was nails today...they were on their game.

This along with the NE game were the two toughest on the schedule...split them. It's not the worst thing in the world to lose today...at least Sutton might change shit up in January and the should have Nelson back.

KC was going to get everyone's best until they lost...

Haley stopped the Steelers more than Sutton.

The lack of Steeler points is on Pitt, not the Chiefs.

I love Sutton's love for nickel and dime and that we've built a good defense around it.

But my lord, learn your ****ing lesson when the same RB keeps beating your over and over again. Great adjustment in the second half to a bigger defense, but how in the hell did a gameplan again going to the Nickel/Dime ever make it past anyone's desk?
