That's my point. Bush used to own a baseball team.

That said, this is the first case I can remember of a politician actually getting into the weeds with an issue like this. I imagine if he hadn't said anything this issue might have continued to fade a bit as the season progressed, but now a gas can has been poured on it. That's just the power of the presidency, everything you say carries lots of weight.
