Patrick turns 22 September 17th
Maybe that doesn't make much difference but he is at least about the same age that Dan Marino was & Dan Marino says he reminds him of himself but more mobile.

I think the best play, that will get little discussion, was that 3rd and 13 pass to Dat.

Last week on an incomplete pass he was keeping his head up and made 2 reads while checking out of his first read that would have been a pick 6 if he threw it. The Harris TD was in fact his third read of the play. He's really catching on mentally. |

Excellent play to stretch the field and be able to convert a THIRD AND LONG with a pass that is not 4 yards SHORT of the sticks but actually PASSED the chains! HOORAY for that! It was a dart and thrown exactly where it need to be I took great notice of that play even though I was watching on my tiny LG3 Escape cell phone.

There were some outstanding plays...it took a minute for me to process that KC just did the impossible...drafted a future franchise QB....and did it while having a 12-4 team.
Mahomes it set-up to succeed... a season behind Smith and he should be good to go. KC will get a pick for Smith and clear his salary next year... Now everyone can root for the Chiefs to win the SB THIS year...and stop all the BS. |

But that's exactly the type of play everyone said you can't do at the NFL level. Early returns are encouraging, but still a long way to go for him. Curious to see how it all plays out, one way or the other. |
