Uncharted Movie Nathan Drake cast
@DEADLINE: ‘Uncharted’ Reconfigured: ‘Spider-Man Homecoming’s Tom Holland To Play Young Nathan Drake For Shawn Levy http://deadline.com/2017/05/tom-holl...medium=twitter https://twitter.com/DEADLINE/status/...001089/photo/1
WTF? What kind of premise to start a movie with it being a prequel and a young Nathan Drake? Holland can pull off a young version but otherwise. No way. |

Wow, they needed to put way more thought into the actors for this. The movie could actually be pretty incredible if the perfect cast was present. Oh well.

Odd choice. Feels sort of like the "young indiana jones" approach from back in the 90s. Which both worked but at the same time never seemed quite right.

He's great for young Drake, but yeah I don't care how much you try to bulk him up or hope he grows into the role, he's not older Nathan Drake.

I would've been fine with a young Drake to go along with Pratt or someone as the older Drake. This will be a dumpster fire as naughty dog is not involved

Just about every movie that's been based off of a video game has been absolute trash. Seriously though I can't think of a single movie title based off of a videogame that's ever been good. I didn't enjoy Assassins Creed at all. Tomb Raider? Yeah Jolie was hot but mostly Zzzzzz. Resident Evil? Trash. Mario Bros, Mortal Kombat, Doom are some of the worst movies of all time according to many.
I think a Zelda movie (could) be good if they put the right people behind it. But I expect this to be no different.

I don't know if he can act, but Jack Mawell (Booze Traveler) looks the part to me.

Looks should be last on the list when considering actors for a video game movie.
