Initial best and worst drafts across the league

Who had good drafts and who had poor drafts?

I've gott say the Jets draft was poor. After Adams it was blah for me. Of course Ballard had a terrific draft in Indy. It sucks that Indy is in great hands.

Thoughts?

Browns and Niners did pretty well. Besides it is all on paper for now.

Initial best and worst drafts across the league

Cleveland, Baltimore & Dallas had excellent drafts.

San Francisco had an impactful draft.

Chicago had one of the worst drafts in history.

LA Rams also stunk it up.

Oh yeah. The Herschel Walker trade was brought up as well.

The main difference here is that Williams and Walker were known commodities, not a guy who started 13 games for a second rate program. Also, before pulling the trigger on these disasters, the Saints and Vikings hadn't just dropped huge coin on another RB.

Del Rio turned them into contenders in two years. Whatever he's selling they're buying into it.

Yeah i don't know how anyone can criticize what he's doing with the raiders.

If Mahomes turns into a great QB, the Raiders can draft all the "beasts" they ****ing want and shove them up their own asses. It won't matter. In terms of total team improvement, KC gaining a QB like that is going to be WAAAY better than whatever it is the Raiders picked up.

Also, I'd like to wager you on Conley's career in the NFL. I have no clue what you see in him that makes you think "beast"

It has a LOT more to do with the players McKenzie is bringing in, and a lot less to do with Jacks tough talk or X and O acumen... Jack Dios Mio will always be consistently outcoached by his betters

They will plateau under him soon, and the HC search will begin anew

Reggie McKenzie turned the Raiders into contenders. Jack Del Rio is just along for the ride. You see that shit all the time with NFL coaches.

I actually didn't like the Browns draft.

I thought Peppers was a reach and I would of opted for Obi Melifonwu over him. Kizer got drafted to Syria because they completely whiffed on Thursday QB's and they just shrugged about keeping Brantley the moment they drafted him.

This team is in the basement all the time for a reason.

I thought Lynch put together a killer draft. Just worked the boards so well.

I also think you have to put Houston up there as a failure draft. Any time you trade up for a QB and get... the other guy... that's systemic failure. Now, they're stuck with Watson, who I'm not sure is the right guy for that system or the pieces around him.

Maybe I'm wrong. Dude is a baller, but college success means jack squat in the pros.
