Sidney Jones would be the only immediate impact player on that list given our current roster.

Would be more interested in trading back so someone could draft one of those guys and give us a #1 next year. So we have ammo to make a move for a QB.

We moved back into the 2nd in 2016, and only landed a few mid round picks (2nd, 4th, 6th)

Kiper has the Chiefs taking Davis in his first mock.

If the Chiefs take a WR in the first round, Maclin is gone in 2018

Oh, and we could get our QB of the future in Johnny Manziel and coach him up to throw to one of them. Well not the OT guy or the CB guy but one of them WR guys. |

Smith is the main problem, but Maclin did lack focus this season.

Because essentially, there won't be any room for him and his massive salary.
1st round draft choice, Hill and Conley. Unless the 1st rounder completely sucks ass, why pay a 30 year old Maclin $13.4 million dollars? His effectiveness declined big time this season and I'm not even sure what to expect from him in 2017. Quote:
He'll be 29 entering the 2017 season and I just hope the Chiefs can get more than 435 yards for the $12.4 million they're paying him this season. |

It's easy for one to get a draft crush on Corey Davis from what he has came from to what he's done on the field. He looks like a man among boys.. which is partly due to the conference he played in. But even so he is gonna be a good one for a long time.
John Ross is very good in his own right. He's a deep threat/YAC machine. I would love to have either one of these guys, but it is hard to justify when you don't have a QB who would take advantage. If Alex is still the QB going forward then we are better off improving the run game on both sides of the ball. It is simply inexcusable to say that Smith doesn't have enough weapons at this point |
