Pest banned?

I'm not here to fight for anyone... just looking through post history and not really seeing what took place. Hoping someone, not named Tiger, would fill me in.

As Tiger will come running at the mention of his nemesis being banned and want to strut about... this one is for you bud.

I'm absolutely fine, and 99.99999% on board with seething hatred for continued failure.

The irritating part is the continued pie-eyed hope that we have one identifiable problem that's easily remedied.

If the NFL is the QB driven league that some insist, I'm at a loss why we give a medicine cap worth of warm spit over losing SUPPORTING CAST like Houston, Berry, Poe, Jamaal, DJ, etc to injury or payday.

Might as well have mega-threads mourning the sick day by the beer man in Section 225.

I don't see where most on here think it's just the one problem. I think most people keep harping about Smith because is a bigger part of the problem than than any other part of the team.

I can't remember who won the 2011, 2012 or 2013 World Series.

You actually expect the average Joe in Philly, SF, New York or SoCal to remember who won in 2015?

Kansas City fans whooped and hollered about the 800k fans that showed up in 2015 yet didn't say a word when 7 MILLION showed up in Chicago.

You're out of your depth.

Oh, Dane. I've missed us.

I wouldn't care if only those of us on Chiefsplanet remembered that the Royals won. They did something I never thought they'd do in my lifetime, and I'll be eternally grateful.

By the way, where did you get that 7 million number? The MLB originally said 5 million, this was later adjusted to a million, but either way.

Chicago has about 5x the population of KC, no? It'd make sense for them to have 5x the parade.

The Royals took massive risks and were rewarded with a title, if only the franchise across the parking lot would do the same.

Don't care.

Nobody cares outside of KC and that's the way it's supposed to be for winning teams.

Stop with the inferiority complex.

Of course it isnt ALL Smiffs fault, our problems on both sides of the ball have been discussed to death by now

But it goes back to the NFL truism that a QB gets too much rep for a win, and too much for a loss... except, QBs are the league standard bearers now... so if they cant win in this overly QB friendly environment, then when CAN they win?

Only a select few teams have them, only a few teams consistently make noise deep in the playoffs without an absolute elite defense and run game like Smith had in Frisco... but this is the way the new NFL is set up, for better or worse

In short, I understand your desire to defend Smith because of how he rescued us from the dumps, I was right there with you until this year... at which point I took a prove it deal

Bounced around a few times with this years wins and losses, but ultimately came to the same conclusion... this guy is Matt Cassels more accomplished older brother, but the end result between both will ALWAYS be the same

Smith needs EVERY facet of the team to be at peak performance to win big games... THAT IS NOT WHAT HE IS BEING PAID FOR

Can you define what an inferiority complex is for me? And how my happiness for the Royals falls under your definition?

I think you have me confused with someone else. I've defended Smith when posters have gone overboard, but I'm far from a Smith ballwasher. KC needs to definitely do everything they can to find an elite QB. Smith's game is limited and makes winning a SuperBowl highly unlikely, but he is head and shoulders better than Matt Cassel.

perhaps going back to the poll thing would help, i don 't know...
Good suggestion.
