Pest banned?

I'm not here to fight for anyone... just looking through post history and not really seeing what took place. Hoping someone, not named Tiger, would fill me in.

As Tiger will come running at the mention of his nemesis being banned and want to strut about... this one is for you bud.

Are you Dane's more reeruned, slightly younger but uglier brother?

Worse post you've ever had here. I hope you're joking and trolling Dane.

Does winning it all really matter after what happened in 2016?

I mean, imagine if we still had Aaron Brooks, John Lamb, and Brandon Finnegan last season.

We just want Pest back. He was unreasonably banned for a ****ing stupid rule.

Also, I hope Alex gets both ACLs blown out. Then raped to death by an orangutan.
no worries, mate...

the orangutan just got elected president, so he'll be too busy or something...

as far as pest being banned, i'd like to get a better handle on the situation, but probably nothing will happen anyway...

in the "old" days banning was a big deal and in most cases phobes would post a poll and after 85 votes or so, the accused would either get booted or just chastised...

banning for any reason has always been a sensitive issue here b/c of the history on the star board which gave rise to cp in the 1st place...

perhaps going back to the poll thing would help, i don 't know...

The amount of buck passing and excuse making with many makes me feel that isnt quite true

Its starting to look like we damn well better take what we get, and be damn glad to get it around here

You've been here much longer (respect), but this current mindset isnt what this board was about when I joined... is it now outlawed to even discuss our QB without using superlatives?

Shit like this is what sent Talking Can packing... mods, others and MYSELF certainly didnt agree with everything that guy posted, but banning longtime members like that for specious reasons is a bad deal, and I sure hope Pest doesnt do like TC did

I hate seeing old timers take off for good, since when did this become a homer echo chamber?

It damn sure isnt the same board I joined back in 2006

If that means not winning a WS ring because we didn't have Cueto's complete game in the WS or Zobrist's consistency at the plate, that's an alternate reality I don't care to think about or explore.

My trolling is clearly rusty. Here's a post of mine that captures my true thoughts, circa June 2016.

I don't give a **** if zero people outside of KC know about 2015. The Royals did what I thought they would never do in my lifetime. They gave this city a title.

We traded five pitchers. I would have given more. It's the nature of the beast when rooting for a small market team. We're not the Dodgers. We're going to be able to sign the Greinke's or the Cueto's. We have to do what we can with the tools we have.

And those trades? They netted us a second basemen who played out of his mind in October and a starter who pitched two two hitters in the postseason. We likely don't win a championship without them.

Your line of reasoning isn't uncommon. I see this all over Facebook (usually from people broken up that we lost Finny), but I swear it's a symptom of rooting for a perrienial loser. The "it's always next year" mindset has made people forget what we're hoping to accomplish "next year." But you know, Next year is here. We won the damn thing, and until late October, we are the kings of Major League Baseball.

Ask the Cubs, Indians, Rockies, or any fanbase who hasn't won it all. I have a feeling they would trade with us in a heartbeat.
