Chiefs' draft needs next year

The Chiefs have made great strides in recent years, acquiring significant talent that will never be allowed to play in a Super Bowl. In order to continue losing close playoff games against the teams that always go to the Super Bowl, they'll need to continue drafting well.

What are your top three areas of priority in the draft? Assuming equal talent among all prospects, what are the areas that would draw your first three rounds of picks?

Poll to follow, unless the referees force me to post it on some Steelers forum.

I totally agree with the ILB but I think we keep Berry and cb's played okay for the most part.

We are going to need an OLB if Justin cant get back to the 2014 version.

And we could not stop the run either - what 170 yards or so?
Haven't seen anything that suggests Andy won't draft a QB.

I'm talking about Tyreek Hill. Kelce is a superstar too. No idea who you're talking about. Maclin's the only WR that can't stay healthy. None of our receivers had personal problems this season.

We can't stop the run because we had two peewee league ILBs starting.

We always need back 7 depth. Parker and Sorenson can be upgraded. We could always use CB depth.

Justin Houston played a better game than people give him credit for. But yes, I'd rather OLB depth than wasting high picks on OL.

A play-caller on the sidelines. We need a more robust offensive attack than just opening up on the first and last series of the game. Who knows, that may even transform Alex a little.

That's about it in a nutshell. This is why I don't think Matthew Stafford gets enough props. No way that Lions team should've been in the playoff discussion this year.

Needs are
ILB - We have to get MUCH better against the run
OLB - Our pass rush is not good enough
QB - Smith is not going to be here forever
WR - Maclin, Conley, Wilson, DAT just are not good enough
OL - We can not run the ball effectively or pass block good enough

We need a QB you can build your franchise around, or we need to trade back and pick up #1 and #2 picks for next year so we have more ammo to acquire a QB you can build your franchise around.

Unless you believe we can build an all time defense, then maybe we'd have a shot at a title that way. Once.

I'll take Pat Mahomes in the first, Alex.

After that, Guard (two, actually), TE, RB, WR, ILBer, rushbacker, QB, WR.

I see many people saying the Chiefs need ILBer's but the fact is that a great WR, RB or additional TE would likely add to the offensive point totals.

As much as people want to hate on Sutton (which I don't get), the defense is fine, even with scrubs like Reyes and Jenkins, along with guys like Wilson, Smith and RNR.

The defense isn't the problem.

It's offensive scoring.

MOAR POINTS PLEASE.
