This is kind of interesting. The regular season defense of Smith is that he wins games so stats don't matter. Conversely, when he's in the post season he puts up great stats, but has a losing record. So is Smith to be commended for winning in spite of not putting up stats in the regular season? Or critiqued for losing in the post season in spite of good play? Does this shoot holes in both sides' argument? Or support them both?
