Well you can't ***** about Smith to be off the team and praise him for beating Denver/Oakland/Atlanta/Saints in previous weeks...

We are only in the position we are because of the players and the coaches. Be grateful we aren't fighting to be 0.500

Yep and was just shaking my head when he decided to go for it. This team hasn't been very good at short yardage all year so take the easy pts especially in this kind of weather.

Also I thought the playcall on the big 3rd down with the Alex scramble was the right call but they should have spread them out 5 wide or something.

The Chiefs also took points off the board against Denver for a procedure penalty, and ended up scoring a TD, which helped provide them the points they needed to get to OT.

It goes both ways.

Team wins. Team losses. Enough said.
The defense the offense a **** ton of opportunities to manufacture points. They allowed fewer than 20.

They've been doing the same thing all season. THEY'VE been holding up their end of the bargain.

The offense has not. And who do you have to look to for that problem?

The coach, yes. And the QB that's supposed to be very model of efficiency, execution, and precision when the defense gives you an opening.

He's been churning out 2 TDs/game the past many weeks.

That's not e****ingnough.

Facts, not fiction.

Did Alex Smith beat Denver/Oakland/Atlanta/Saints or was it the team?

You can't have it both ways. When the Chiefs lose, you can't scream "TEAM LOSS" and when they win you can't say "ALEX WIN"

ya, but each game scenario is different. You've got be able to stop them with the game on the line, just like the previous series,, the offense had to seal it...but when they didn't..the lead was theirs to protect.

Unless of course, the offense continues to go 3 and out in the second half. Sooner or later the opposing offense will make enough plays to score.

Yes. When you need them to do it, they have to do it.

They've been doing exactly that. Against some powerful and explosive offensive attacks.

Not scoring any points in the 2nd half is bullshit. You can't seriously expect to lay the blame at the feet of the defense when you give them only a 10 point lead at halftime and say, "It's your turn. Hold out for 30 minutes. 17 is all you get."

Kelce's lack of targets was dumb, but the fact that we don't get the ball in Hill's hands more often is even more baffling. That fake misdirection would work so much better if we ever actually gave Hill the ball. If you use him as a decoy EVERY SINGLE TIME, then eventually it loses its effectiveness. It seems like Andy Reid is the only person in the NFL who can stop him. If Andy can't tell how much better Hill is than Wilson or DAT, then he's just not a very smart man.

Ultimately though, Reids TO cost us the game. Missed kick. Game over.
