Would be huge if Dorsett and Moncrief are out or severely limited. That would leave TY as Luck's primary, and pretty much only threat outside.
It's kind of been the theme this year with our opponents. Great QB, Great WR, shitty defense. Rivers + Allen Not so much with the Texans.... flop. Not so much with the Jets - destroyed them. Carr + Cooper Brees + Cooks Luck + Hilton

Moncrief has a separated shoulder I think? He will likely not be playing.

They'll be able to guard Sidney Moncrief w/o any problems - he's old and wasn't that effective in Milwaukee!

Right now it almost feels like a carbon copy of the Saints game. Good offense with an elite QB to WR combo, shit defense.
We need to do to Luck what we did to Fitzpatrick - keep him pressured and dancing around, especially with so many of his skill guys dinged up or out. |

Some of the worst losses I can remember have come against Indy.
The frozen playoff game loss-coldest game I have ever been to. The no punt game. The Playoff meltdown where the Chiefs had a 10,000 point lead and choked it away for a loss. Colts only had about a 2% chance to come back and win that one and it took a complete meltdown by the Chiefs to piss it away. They have our number. I don't see Alex and his 200 yard average going in there and beating the Colts-ever. Luck is going to pick the secondary apart. Nelson and White can't seem to cover anyone. It is going to be another long day and another loss to the hated Colts. We should win. Their D is a toxic mixture of inexperience and over paid vets. Their Offense is nice but so is our Defense. Mark it up as a win assuming nothing out of the usual happens.

A few random thoughts from a colts fan-
The Colts have 4 good players, Luck, Hilton, Adam Vinatieri, and Vontae Davis and 49 slapdicks. Chiefs should win, it'll probably be fairly close, I'll say 34-27 Chiefs. Moncrief and Dwayne Allen will both be out. Hopefully Dorsett can play but I'm not holding my breath. If he's out, the Colts will be hurting. Offensive line is bad but has been getting better. Only allowed 2 sacks against Tennessee, while opening running lanes for Gore. The offense is top 10 while the defense is bottom 3. They have no pass rush. Mathis is done and on the other side, Walden is decent against the run but an awful pass rusher. This LB unit is, hands down, the worst in football. DQ Jackson is 2 years removed from being a good player, McNary is a pile jumping specialist and Morrison is an overmatched, under talented rookie. V Davis is a good starting corner but Patrick Robinson on the other side is eminently beatable. They have 2 decent young safeties in Clayton Geathers and TJ Green. Mike Adams is also solid. Overall, this is a poorly assembled, poorly coached, undisciplined team who Luck can sometimes carry to wins. However, if Luck isn't perfect or close to it, like he was against Tennessee, the Colts aren't going to beat many teams.
