Hey guys long time no see
Know it's been awhile since I've been around but wanted to vent and ask a question about something.

Anyone else here live in Independence? There was a car wreck at 291 and Salisbury the other morning that killed some teenagers and now it's causing some major problems.

These kids friends are vandalizing my entire neighborhood seeing as I live right by there. The elementary school by me is covered in spray paint. The pole they hit on the highway is covered in spray paint and trash from beer cans etc. The ground there is covered even the yield sign is painted.

A cop was out there yesterday and I guess last night they were out there shooting guns and such. Apparently they are threatening to start a war through social media if people "don't let them grieve" how they want.

This all seems pretty ridiculous to me, losing a friend is no reason to act like a little douchebag.

What say you guys?

Uh I've never been married been with the same girlfriend for nearly 6 years now. Also Northern Independence normally isn't that bad.

My hamstring will always give me issues but it's atleast together and lets me function in life.

Side note...i read somewhere that the cops had stopped them and let them go a couple of hours before the fatal accident.

I love independence, but it's getting bad. The Facebook page for community awareness has been overrun with this shit for a couple of days, and the "friends" that have been getting on there and defending this crap are pretty indicative of the problem.

Oh, and I'll echo the "Independence is a shithole" sentiments. I've been there several times and never found anything redeeming about the place (obviously I didn't meet Gblowfish or Mecca, or my opinion might be different).
