The difference is, the Cavs have a lethal offense against a very good golden state defense. The Warriors have a lethal offense against a shifty Cleveland defense.

Id rather Cleveland use the same strategy as last year. Iso lebron and drain the shot clock on offense. On defense, wear the living shit out of Delly, shumpert, and Jr and have them in a nonstop sprint all game long on defense. The Cavs need to slow the game down, not speed it up, if they want to beat golden state.
It is the same team just a different head coach. And they really didn't have to play defense in the playoffs. I agree with Notorious I think it will be alot closer and physical than people think.

If Lue walks in with that approach, good. I havent seen it from them since Lue took over. I really hope I'm wrong. Their defense has been a disaster in the playoffs.

Cleveland is much more equipped to score with Golden State than they were last year, but their style is worse to actually beat them. Their slow pace and defense were a huge reason why they were even competitive in last year's Finals and those qualities have changed significantly.

The fact that Jr Smith plays basically all the minutes and Delly and shumpert play virtually none says a lot about lues priorities. He wants to run and gun. He doesn't care about defense. That will work against the east. Big trouble if he tries that on golden state.

Slow the game down and play tough D. That's the best way for them to approach golden state.

Ifs, ands, buts,

Except.. that's what they do. They did it.. so they do have them.. thats how they play.

And 406 3 pointers by Steph, and 276 by Klay in the same season. The season that they won 73 games.. those aren't prayers, they aren't heaving it. These guys are that good.

Rigged game
No way. Westbrook just swatted at it. There was no ****ing tie-up. There has to be a tie-up to get a jumpball. There was no "rigging" in this. OKC just blew it by being reeruns. It's well established that's what they do.

Also it's funny living here in Thunder country. After Game 6 my buddy said "I can't believe they won heaving up garbage 3s". But i guarantee if Durant had that performance he'd be saying "GREATEST PLAYOFF PERFORMANCE OF ALL TIME@!!!!!" Sour grapes all around in this state.

I never said they weren't good. Or that they were bad shooters. Or that they should stop shooting it.

I just think it's not enjoyable basketball and don't understand they excitement

They have a couple of the best pure shooters this game has ever seen. I don't know how it isn't exciting to see players who can shoot like that. I'm no GSW fan by any means but I always enjoy seeing what they do.

I agreee, Warriors in six, but the series will not seem that close.

Warriors will want to win it at home. Even though it will go six, there will never be any doubt about who is in control of the series.

I kind of get it. He's like those tennis fans that don't like big servers and prefer to see rallies. This is the way of the future of the NBA, though. Jacking 3s all game long.

Have they broken up the Warriors yet? Soft ass team only came back from a 3-1 deficit.
