It would never be able to be done as well as the books, but I enjoyed the shit out of Follett's Century Trilogy. Would probably have to be a series, though.

Robert McCammon Tge Wolfs Hour, The Night Boat, Stinger, and They Thirst. Really any of his books would make a great movie.

Hyperion. Would likely end up being the most expensive trilogy ever made if done correctly, though.

Lost World
They didn't do it properly. That movie was an abomination that didn't follow the book.

Would love to see the Malazan Book of the Fallen done in an animated adult series. It's huge and exhaustive, but pretty goddamned cool. Would be an awesome action too.
Don't think they could do it as live-action. Too expensive and too hard to cast the characters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Ballad of the Whiskey Robber
I think Johnny Depp holds the rights, but I hope someone buys them from him and makes it without him. I'm kind of uninterested in Johnny Depp now, and I'm afraid he would make Attila Ambrus look silly and over the top. The story is larger than life anyway, no need to ham it up. |

Swan Song by Robert Mccammon.
Excellent read. I love post-apocalyptic shit, though. It was a story about a few people after the nukes fell. One was a homeless crazy lady, one was a former WWF wrestler and former NFL player, one was a dude that hated people to begin with and then there was a former war hero that arranged his own army along with a psychotic teen ager. Really cool shit. The main character was a little girl that could bring vegetation back to life. I think it came out in the early 80's. |

Well the one I was wanting (MEG) is actually being made into one so that's a start...wouldn't mind seeing another of Alten's, The Loch, made as well.
Hunger is another killer shark book I'd love to see get made into a movie... |
