Old School Video Games
I recently bought Twisted Metal 2 (pic below) for the original playstation on Amazon to get down on some nostalgia gaming. It got me wondering...what other old school games have I completely forgotten about.

What are some gems from the old school days that you guys enjoyed?

For the purpose of the thread, we'll call anything prior to the 360/PS3 gen old school.

Up until the start of the year I had a N64 / wii u / Gamecube/ PS2 / ps3/ modded PSP floating around the house - Kids had their DS' and I had been too busy to play any games.

Was thinking about getting a PS4 during Christmas and instead ended up with a Dreamcast from a pawn shop - while I was there I noticed they had a clean / non yellow looking SNES as well - I eventually a few weeks later picked that up saying " Screw PS4 - I don't need one - Old school gaming is better!"

I Organized my stash of games that was floating around and during winter break I set up a little corner of the basement to get my game on - Eventually even found a old CRT to setup...

Jan 16:



Once I started getting games and systems from local stores... on ebay.. craigslist... facebook... i think I have a problem..... Here is how it has progressed since January....

Started Digging boxes out of my parents house to see what I could find - most of my stuff I had as I kid I sold or got lost moving throughout the years.

Eventually Upgraded the CRT:

At the Moment:




I'm going to slow down a bit now - finish the basement - take some time off school - enjoy the summer...

Stay away from those classic video games... don't say I didn't tell you!
