Do you like Tony Luke's? Steve's is real good. Pat and Geno's stop being good 25 years ago. I also go to Dinic's in the Reading Terminal for the Roast Pork

Jersey Mike's has an amazing Chipotle Cheesesteak.
It's not a Philly and has got some spice to it. I think I saw some red peppers in it but I was pretty drunk so I'm not positive. |

I got this place i discovered around the corner that makes Philly Cheese Steak Fries.
Sooooooo ****ing good. Imagine everything in a philly cheese steak just thrown on top of fries instead of being in a sammich.

Have to really disagree with you there. Probably just didn't hit up the right spots. Chain store Phillys suck and are always overcooked on lousy bread. A good Philly melts in your mouth and uses awesome bread. I usually use provolone instead of cheese whiz. And i like it greasy enough to soak through the wrapper which is why I'm not crazy about genos.

Had a layover in Philly on Thursday night (first time in Philly)....
Figured I'd have a cheese steak since it's the staple item of the area. I think I must have chosen the worse place... granted it was in the Airport. |

I went to the top spot in Philly 21/2 years ago, as recommended by the locals at a trade show. We were also told who to avoid. It was not a chain and it was mobbed. Very unimpressed. My opinion. You're actually going to debate taste in food preferences? Unbelievable! I also am not a fan of "greasy" either. It tastes like oil and upsets my stomach. |

Jersey Boys in north KC had some good cheestesteaks. One they used cream cheese instead of regular cheese.
Hardees had a philly cheese steak thickburger for a little bit while I was in college that I use to demolish after a binge. |
