Aaron Murray as a Potential Romo Backup?
Ran across this article and thought I'd post it for your reading pleasure. Someone sure seems to like the potential upside of Mr Murray....

Says we get him in the third, I assume it came out before the penalty was handed down
At any rate, we're just not really in a position to take a guy #1 this year, they'd have to give away the farm to move up far enough to get one of the top dawgs... Dorsey isnt gonna do that, and he is right not to |

Pros - prototypical pro style QB, Cook piled up wins while leading the Spartans. He can operate from under center and sees the field well. Does nice work on timing patterns and deep throws, willing to throw receivers open
Cons - arm strength is average at best, wont fit many throws into tight windows. Often has trouble reading defenses when LB's take deep drops. Will drop his eyes when bodies start gathering at his feet. There are whispers he wasnt the most popular guy in East Lansing |

The real question is: Are any of the guys beyond Goff and Lynch worth using the pick on, how quickly can they get up to speed, and is it worth it to end right back up at "Murray", though with perhaps a bit more upside? I don't see it. |

We draft a QB that fits all the criteria that gives him a decent chance to be successful in the NFL, and you want to trade him for a 3rd......

All of these people talking about skills and intangibles, none of that shit matters when you will never see the field. A 3rd rounder could help us elsewhere. |

You act like he is being groomed to be our starter or has gotten snaps. Quit propping him up as a savior, if that were the case he would of beaten out chase daniels and gotten playing time in meaningless games.
