On television, you kinda get a feel for it. In person, OTOH, you can just feel the energy get sucked out of the stadium once the guy starts to move again. It's really amazing.

Nkemdiche is a little light in the pants for me in regards to how he would fit here in our base sets, but could be a pretty great pass rusher in subsets if he could develop a few could terrible moves. Don't take yourself so seriously man. |

Well the Rams are probably going to sign Randle anyway and as a bit of a Randle fan myself, I'm not completely convinced that Thomas's upside is any higher than his.

There's a difference between top 10 "talent" and "pick". I was arguing about whether he's a top 10 talent, not pick because that was your original statement. He looked like a top 5 talent in the Bama game is all I'm saying. Issues with consistency and character concerns make him a late 1st. |

I guess I expect a guy that talented to show off said talent more than once to feel comfortable saying he's a consensus top talent.

At that level of football, everyone is talented. Look at a guy like Braxton this year. I think he's got top 10 talent, but there's so much more to it to be that pick. But yeah, seems like miscommunication by me. My fault. |

The Chicago Bears select Adolphus Washington, DE/DT Ohio State
Bears bolstering the D line falls cause of character concerns extremely talented though |

And it was 12 sacks per year. He essentially started any discussion on Gregory with the premise that he was a fringe HoF candidate. It really was amazing.

He wasn't good in SF either. Frankly, his best season(s) came in Kansas City. The whispers about him turned out to be justified. Not strong enough to be a premier NT, not long enough to be a 5-tech and not explosive enough to be a dynamic under-tackle. Most of the time people think of Tweeners as guys that are right in the middle of doing anything well enough to be players. Dorsey was kinda the alpha tweener - right in the middle of doing anything great enough to be a star so he just become a solid NFL regular. Dorsey would've been an outstanding 2nd round pick but it turns out the possible knocks on him being taken that high had it right. Like you, I was fooled. I figured the explosion would come back as his knee recovered and he'd be a guy that could disrupt like Sapp did. Clearly I was wrong.

Yup. I thought Sam Bradford was gonna be another Troy Aikman.
Maybe that potential is why he's STILL cashing big checks... |
