It's unnerving to me that people want to change the context and intent of a word based on the color of someone's skin.

Bill isn't the first person to question Cam's maturity. Probably not the first one to refer to him a as a boy either. Yet we're acting like it is. We're acting as if this is some abnormal word used to describe an immature male.

I think it's insulting to call any male over the age of 21 a "Boy", regardless of race. And in this case, with a known racist piece of shit as the source, I absolutely believe it was intentional. I don't think the context of the situation is a defense in this case.

Also, i would like to note that i'm not here to defend Ol' Bill. I understand he's a piece of shit, i've never liked the guy. He was a ****ing donk and a raider, ffs.

My issue is with how quickly people want to scream racism at every corner, without even putting thought into it or giving someone the benefit of the doubt.

Context and intent matters. I agree with Fish, no one likes to be called "boy". But if an old grandpa says, "hey boy, wanna come in and out of that rain?", should i be upset?

Sometimes the word "Boy" is just a word, nothing more. Sometimes it is racial, im not denying that.
