Probably not that well because Cueto has been kind of shitty for 2 months. He doesn't have that kind of rope. David Price basically had the best stretch of his life as a Jay to carry them to their first division title. He was going to be given some latitude to determine what was the best way for him to prepare. As soon as they clinched, the focus for both him and the Jays immediately went to next Thursday.

Looks like no drama today at all.
Royals are winning 6-1, BJ's are losing 12-1, Texas is winning 9-2...no drama.

With the Yankees losing 7-3, if Hou is able to come back and win, they would host the WC Game, otherwise, they go to Gotham

Would we rather face the Yankees or Astros?

The Astros are going to be kicking themselves if they blow this game.
Keuchel is 15-0 with a 1.46 ERA at home. He is 5-8 with a 3.77 ERA on the road. |

Don't really care, but from a historical standpoint, I'd love to sweep the Yanks again, just like '80

Yankees. We lost to them earlier this year with Young, Guthrie and Vargas on the mound which won't be the case this time. Mark Teixeira is gone and I think we can get to their SPs.
The key is making sure you have a lead in the late innings to avoid the back end of that bullpen and the Royals need to avoid swinging for the fences in Yankee stadium like they did earlier this year. |

Gotta say Cueto worries the hell out of me right now. 6 hits and 4 BB in 5 IP today. He has pitched a little better as of late but far from ace headed into the postseason.

Bring on the Yankees Thursday and lets keep our 10 game AL playoff win streak going.

Does anybody know when they will announce the game time for Thursday? I'm considering making the 3-hour drive for the game, but it depends on when it starts.
