The fact of the matter is this:

I like this team. A lot. And I don't even feel any longer that Smith is the issue, though I'm not thrilled with his limitations either, but that our woes lie and will continue to lie with Reid's game-day shenanigans.

This is a really good team with a lot of talent, our GM is easily the best we've had since I started watching Chiefs football, and Reid is very, very good at getting guys to buy in as well as coaching them up.

But he has a flaw. And unfortunately, it's a very sucky flaw that is going to cost this very talented team.

IMO.

Between pete and bsroyas, I generally see about 10 out 20 posts on a page. Thrown in bundy and it's 5 of 20 some nights. And it's the same stupid shit every night. Who wants to participate in that? Ignore doesn't work when other chuckleheads quote them.

Maybe a timeout until the end of the season and warning to quite being such useless turds would help.

I can't even imagine what a Chiefs GDT is like with Clay and SDH.
Like I mentioned when you brought it up the other night, it's hard to draw that line.. some people complained quite a bit about bricks, but don't ever complain about people who are far worse.

I'll try to be more aggressive in those threads when I'm around, but unless the vast majority want to boot pete for being pete, he's not really doing anything that warrants being banned from those threads (and I have him on ignore). I agree that it could be cleaned up though.

And FWIW, the Chiefs GDT was surprisingly enjoyable Sunday... winning helps, of course, but ironically enough, the worst part was people mocking Clay even after he was long gone.

Guys, you can save yourselves a lot of trouble by just reading my top tier thread and ignoring anyone that's a shit-tier poster.

If you are unsure of your tier, please inquire within that thread and I will let you know.

I know it's not easy to make that call. And I don't think Pete is a bad guy and should be banned, per say. But I just wish he and a few others would show a little self control and not feel compelled to post every thought that comes into their heads. Like I said the other night, it's not trolling. It's the numbers of posts that are nothing more than non-stop whining.

I usually don't check the Chiefs GDT's because we either have friends over, or were at friends for the games. I'll check it out Thurs as we should be flying solo.

Glad to see the Mods are getting fed up as well.

Ignore is not a solution for the troll/mudslinging epidemic here. It doesn't stop threads from being wrecked, it just makes them unreadable when they are.

Agreed because they always get quoted. You simply can't ignore certain polarizing posters.

This is the point that a few people don't seem to get. If you are posting on this board, you are a ****ing idiot.

I'm a ****ing idiot. You're a ****ing idiot. Everyone is a ****ing idiot. Bearcat orgasms over hockey, so he's a bigger ****ing idiot, but that doesn't matter to the point of my post other than I wanted to single Bearcat out as a bigger ****ing idiot.

Those that get thread bans or banned have to achieve a high level of sustained bullshit to actually get singled out to have something done to them.
