Just read this on tigerboard (I know, I know...I glance around over there once in a while):

But Jesus tits does he suck at basketball. He remains the worst major division I college basketball player I've ever seen and that includes the Haley twins (even the shitty one).

He's not worse than Jeffrey Ferguson. Ferguson was 7ft tall and used to get dominated at the student rec center. Not sure how he was able to make a div college team...even if he is 7ft tall. There are a lot of 6'10+ guys in the ncaa that can actually play and would dominate him in the blink of an eye.

Take him.
The last thing I want is some super-talented legacy kid coming in here and making it look like Kermit can coach or recruit. And if he's right next door, it will make Kimmy look all the worse.

I was in the Columbia Mall today and saw their yearly "Tigers on the Prowl" exhibit, wherein 12 people/groups decorate these life-sized tigers for charity. All of them had a Mizzou-centric theme.
As I was walking past I noticed one that had a painting of Norm's visage on the side of the tiger. On the tiger's neck was a painting of Anderson, and while I didn't take a picture of it, because I don't want to embarrass the artist, they painted our coach with this *exact* look on his face: It had to be meta. |

Rumor has it that Alden had a directive to hire Gregg Marshall, but he wanted a Calipari-clone contract and thus Kim Anderson.

Missouri now well on to offering backup plans at the PF position, signaling that St. Louis kid Tyler Cook - who is extremely close with new coach Corey Tate after playing for him for years and have Tate take a leadership role in his life - is most definitely picking Iowa when he announces in the next week or so.
But don't worry, guys, a member of the staff who works as closely as possible with Kim Anderson had NO ****ING CLUE Cook had even moved up his announcement date, as of Sunday. Said staff member was playing golf and speaking highly of the team's chances with Cook due to the Tate relationship. If they can't land this kid, they're not landing ANYBODY of note. More good news: One of the backup options they offered is a kid from Iowa. Who has not received an offer from Iowa or Iowa State. Sounds like Kim's kind of guy!

Let's keep going, Kimbo! I think they can go an entire season without beating a power 5 squad.

I posted too soon... All these new offers have come this week.
Coincidence? Or, what I think, the staff realizing it has no chance. Queue the Mr. McMahon theme music.
