To Amazon Prime or NOT to Amazon Prime

Sorry if Q, but I'm on the fence about doing the whole Amazon Prime thing. Seems like getting rid of Netflix all but pays for it, but wanted to ask the opinions of others in this Mecca of awesome knowledge called Chiefs Planet..

Is Amazon Prime really worth it over eBay when you buy, let's say, 5-7 items a month? I ask because I always do the "price+shipping" deal, so it seem like it's a wash at some level. That being said, "Prime" would ALWAYS mean two-day shipping, and that's something I hardly ever do on eBay, so it could be a deal that makes it worth it enough to buy 15-20 things a month. The whole "eliminating some of the instant gratification culture/concern" deal...

Oh, and I've heard that if you use an "edu" account it's free for six months (perhaps not a big deal over a lifetime!!), but is then like half the cost. Does anybody know if that's true? If so, and it' the son who has the "edu" account, how does "Dad" pull off that scam without having the kid able to buy pretty-much anything he's ever wanted?

Thanks in advance... Just looking for some opinions before I leap...

The location I frequent is in Burbank, which takes a minimum of 20 minutes to reach with a maximum around 30 minutes. Since I work from home, I'm often able to go during the week and avoid peak hours but the times I've needed to go on Saturday or Sunday, it can take as long as 15 minutes just to find a parking spot.
Is Costco a Cooperative?

I'll vouch for rural. S&S has saved me a million trips to the hellhole. But yeah, foodstuffs is pretty tough to get a decent deal on.

My buddies mother in law has one. I watched it work. I was fairly indifferent on them. The mower is a good deal if you need a mower.

This is terrible. I was expecting 55 inch tvs for 200, ps4 bundles for 300.

I'm disappointed

It seems to be deep discounts on low value items. Like a clearance sale.

Yes, and we love it! It does an awesome job of getting the dog hair up. It gets stuck under the couch sometimes though - the couch is just the wrong height to catch the top of the roomba sometimes.

What pisses me off is that the Fire TV stick offer for $24 sold out in a matter of minutes.
They have shit loads of these things.
It should be a 24 hour deal of the day.

You could try and bitch to their customer service reps. They'll usually credit you the difference within a week or two.
