If we could get Kendricks signed to an extension that would pay him somewhere in the $5m per year ballpark, it'd essentially be like giving a not-quite-as-good-but-younger DJ an extension.
I'm not sure if we could finagle that kind of deal but it could end up being a great trade for us if so... |

Think Nico Johnson. Mychal Kendricks would be okay. Third or fourth. Fourth preferably. I wouldn't give up a second in this draft considering how many quality WR prospects are going to be there/available that fit this team. Even in the third. |

I'm sure those numbers will be all jacked up after Wagner and Keuchly get their new deals.. So maybe something averaging around $7m per? |

Definitely. Plus it'd allow us to relegate Mauga to bench/spot duty while keeping Abdullah out of the box.

With the way Chip Kelly's unloading these guys I might just offer them a 5th that could potentially become a 4th or something like that. He might just jump on it

That's alot of money on defense, but Hali is probably coming off and dj in the next year or so, so it wouldn't matter.

The only catch about signing Kendricks is that we'd have to up his cap hits after the initial 2015 season since we basically have no cap room at the moment and still need to sign rookies... But I'm sure the guys could get creative with some backloading. I wouldn't worry about that too much although the numbers may look a bit large on the back end. |

You could lick houston up to free up money but who knows about that. Houston, Poe, kendricks and hopefully a draft pick would be your young core? |

Funny story,I had this cat walk into the shop yesterday needing an inspection.
Greased hair, leather coat... The works. I write him up and he leaves then tell my wife I just inspected pony boy's car. She had no ****ing clue what I was talking about... She is only five years younger than I am but they had dropped that in school between us . I got her the book yesterday and told her I expected a report on it in six days. |
