But your Chiefs fandom is related to following Alex Smith here; had he stayed a Niner or signed with the Dolphins that year nobody wanted him free agency, youd be cheering for the Pelicans on their fan forums. The fact that Alex Smith has fans that follow him blows my mind. Thats like following Mark Castle to a Bills forum and saying go Royals!

It's a playoff thread. Who cares who I root for. I am actually a member of the Pelicans forum but meh, I like it here. And you are correct. Where ever Alex went I was going. And it's nothing like cassel. You didn't draft cassel, you didn't see him struggle for years, finally play decent, almost lead the 49ers to the super bowl and be kicked aside while playing the best football of his career. They are nothing alike.
