CBS Sports doesn't have one, single OG projected to go in the 1st round. Do you think we really spend our 1st on a RT?

NO but we need to throw lots of bodies at the OL, pick the best 5 and don't suck.

Yeah so wasting 1st round picks on OL is really the answer... . See Eric Fisher classic 1 rd bust.
Again for the slow people. You draft OL rds 3-5 and impact players rounds 1-2... Don't give me this Dallas shit. Their OL didn't win them shit or make a big play when the season was on the line... Show me where an OL made a big catch or threw the game winning TD pass and then we can talk... |

You misunderstand what i'm saying, I didn't say draft OL in 1st round. I DID say we need many to grab the best 5.

The Chiefs need to focus this draft on the running game on both sides. 2 of the first 3 picks (other one is WR) need to be an OL to help you run the ball and a front 7 playmaker to stop it.
With SD getting stronger up front on the OL and Denver getting their old running style back, it's imperative for us to add somebody (preferably ILB but SS works too) to stop the run.

The Chiefs shouldn't take more than 3 OL in the draft.
They get an OT in the second day that's decent enough to challenge someone on the right, get a center like Gallik shortly after and a guard at some point in the third day. ILB and WR have to be addressed in the first or second rounds.

I'm only saying what he have now? well it sucks big time. Pioli could grab 5 guys off the street to do a better job.

Chiefs have a lot of picks in the draft, and Dorsey does seem to take the long view and draft BPA. In other words, I imagine we will take a little of everything in the draft.

Cobb also took a home town discount to stay in GB. He was offered more money by the Raiders and there was another team as well.

Petro throwing cold water on this deal. He's not as pessimistic as I am but $11 million a year is a huge risk just like I've been saying.
