2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame Finalists
I don't think we've discussed this yet, so here you go. Up to five of these guys (plus the one senior candidate) can go in. You make the vote when the poll goes up and I release white smoke from the chimney.
The semifinalist list is here if you want to see who got snubbed, which is mostly Albert Lewis, Everson Walls, Clay Matthews, Joe Jacoby, Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, and Randall Cunningham: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showt...php?p=10938513 Edit: Two other finalists weren't in the poll because the profootballhof listed them separately. Bill Polian and Ron Wolf are also finalists if you want to vote for them as write-ins. Last edited by Rain Man; 01-15-2015 at 01:46 PM.. |

I guess today is the big day. Chiefsplanet is collectively betting on ...
Will Shields Junior Seau Kurt Warner Orlando Pace Tim Brown We're aren't crazy about Mick Tinglehoff, but I think there's no doubt that he'll make it. We're predicting that Don Coryell, Marvin Harrison, and Charles Haley are the only others with a chance.

Shields, Pace, Brown, Warner, Jimmy Johnson for me.
Jimmy Johnson orchestrated the best trade in the history of sports. He was absolutely outstanding at player evaluation in Dallas and was a damned good coach as well. He may not have had a 20+ year NFL coaching career, but he was great enough in a short time to get my vote, which is also why I'd vote for Warner. |

Statistical career comparisons on Pro Football Reference -- Corey Dillon, Earnest Byner and Freeman McNeil. HOF-worthy?

Bettis finishes his career with St. Louis or any team but Pittsburgh with the exact same stats he has now and he doesn't get in within his first three years of eligibility. Simple as that.
