Actually, you've got it backwards.
His first stop was the Colts. Then was with the Bills, and now us. |

IIRC he signed as an UDFA with the Bills, then ended up with the Colts.

So...does the apostrophe take the place of the first "r" in "Darrick"?

Its like the Chiefs use the "swap meet" method when bringing in new players. If it doesn't work it's okay you bought it for about 80% off
Chiefs fans favorite saying "low pay, no risk, no harm" I wonder what other swap meet players we'll get this offseason.

Guy had a pretty good combine finishing #1 in all categories for WRs except the 40 and the bench press.

Bray probably vouched for him being a badass WR target.

MOBILE, Ala. Chiefs general manager John Dorsey said the team is comfortable with its decision to sign talented-but-troubled receiver Da’Rick Rogers to a reserve-future contract earlier this month. “It’s one of those things where we like the player’s ability in college,” Dorsey said. “We did some research, we vetted that out, we’re all good there. I think we have really good position coaches and they have a unique way of motivating guys to play. It’s one of those things where you try to increase the competitiveness of your roster.” Rogers is a former five-star prep prospect who enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign at the University of Tennessee, where he caught 67 passes for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns in 2011. However, he was suspended from the program indefinitely before the season because of a violation of team rules. Rogers then transferred to Tennessee Tech, where he caught 61 passes for 893 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2012 before declaring for the 2013 NFL Draft (he went undrafted). The Indianapolis Colts signed Rogers to their practice squad, and he spent the season being promoted to the active roster, released and signed to the practice squad again. In five games with the Colts in 2013 — including three starts — Rogers caught 14 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns. However, Rogers again found trouble last September, when the Colts promptly released him for conduct detrimental to the team after he was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Rogers had been a healthy scratch for the Colts’ first four games of the season.

This. He has to make it thru spring and St. Joe yet. If he can beat out all the incumbents, draft picks and free agents, kudos to him. The biggest part of that is the mental part, of which is Reid's play book anyway.
If he would have caught on with someone else and blew it up everyone here would be screaming what would it have hurt for Dorsey to bring him in and kick the tires? It's not like we had a Pro Bowl team at WR already. Dorsey is trying to expand up the approx 11 picks he is going to have and hit on a few others. He needs all the help he can get.

Great signing. Very talented guy who is low risk. These are the kind of players you take a look at to be your complimentary guys.
#4 or 5 WR to fight it out at camp. I want as much pressure put on the WR corps as possible.
